USAA is an organization founded by military members for military members. We understand the unique needs of service members, veterans and their families.

The USAA Mobile App gives you convenient and secure account access from your mobile device. You can manage your finances, insurance and more. With just a few taps, you can do things like transfer money, pay bills and deposit checks.

USAA Mobile App features include:

-Banking: Pay bills, send money with Zelle®, deposit checks, transfer funds and locate an ATM.

-Insurance: Get an auto ID card, request roadside assistance and report a claim.

-Security: Use a PIN or device biometrics to securely log on to the app.

-Search: Find what you need with smart search and chat.

-Widgets: View your balance and transaction history on your home screen using widgets.

Something shady is going on. For the last month, I have been making additional principal only payments to my car loan along with making my regularly scheduled payment. Every other time, when I go to check my activity, I see that they have taken my PRINCIPAL ONLY payment and split it into a principal and interest payment. I have already contacted USAA about this, and they corrected it once a month ago. So either USAA is counting on people not noticing, or there's an error in the app.

It often has trouble displaying information about accounts. I get notifications about important changes and am asked to.log in. Log in, and there is nothing. I start from scratch and try to figure out what changed. If I get desperate enough, I'll chat with the bots they pretend are chat agents. Round & round. What a crummy experience.

USAA has gone from perfect to nightmare. Balancing my credit card was easy because pending transactions were added to my current balance. if I'd spent $300 on groceries and it sat in my transactions history as pending, that $300 would be added to my VISUAL (in app or online) credit card balance. The most recent update to the app (and the website, appearantly) have eliminated this feature and sent me back to the stone age of book balancing. Our 19 year relationship will end on Jan 1.
