Edit after author's response: that is outright NOT TRUE, the free version only allows to record 20 random samples and not the entire night. Also, the "trial" is not a trial but a subscription you can cancel in the first 7 days. It might well be a good product, but we can't know that because the sales tactics make it look like a low-quality subscription trap. Original review: Just a word of warning, the "free" version is just a technical demo full of pop-ups rather than a usable product. To be able to actually use it (monitor a night's sleep) you would have to get a subscription, which is free for some time but starts charging you after a while unless you remember to stop it. I don't mind paying the cost (quite affordable for what it does), but the way they force your hand is quite deceiving.

The fundamentals of SnoreLab are free to use: you can record your night, get charts and stats, listen to captured audio and use tags to help you find the things that help your snoring. We had complaints that there was no free trial, so we've introduced one. This trial has exactly the same terms that you'd see in any other subscription-based app.

Is ok as a basic free app, but you can only use it 5 days before it charges you - you then are only allowed to use it every other day or you have to pay an expensive subscription! Not even a one-off payment like other apps. In the free trial, you can only hear brief samples, which was disappointing as I hoped to pick up my husband's talking one night, only to be unable to listen to that part of the recording! And it picks up all sound, not just snoring, making scores inaccurate.

Hi Léonie, we pride ourselves on offering a great free version of the app, but like many apps our premium features come at a cost which funds the dedicated team that works on SnoreLab. If you'd like more information on why apps cost money, I've included an article here for your reference: https://www.snorelab.com/why-do-apps-cost-money/

For the extremely high cost (costing about as much as student Amazon Prime) it's completely ridiculous that the app switches off at random during the night. In this case it ended the session 20-30mins after I went to sleep and often times it will ended at some other point throughout the night. No, it's not battery optimisation since my phone is plugged in all night. EDIT: no interfering apps, I switch it on and go to sleep. Also I'm being charged £4/month

SnoreLab premium is quite fairly priced in the app market, student Amazon Prime seems to be almost twice the price at £4.49/month. Regardless, the app should not stop during the night unless you stop it yourself. Do you have other apps running that might interfere (ie. music/video) or bluetooth devices?
