The app is OK for an ICE car, but not for an EV. It should allow to turn on the AC of the car and set the temperature, not just starting the "engine". Also, it does not gives the option of setting charge limits if you forget to do so while in the car. Coming from a Tesla, you can see how many of the small, convenient features add up to a better owner experience. Also, if the car is left on, it can not be shut off via the app. Coming from a Tesla, this app is a major downgrade.

A rather important feature is the service history and the ability to manually enter your own entries. I do not see how to do so within the update or if the option is available anymore. I am staying with the old version for the time being. I never used to own ford but over the past 2 years I purchased two brand new 0 mile fords and intend to meticulously document the maintenance records. It has been super convenient to use the ap to do so.

Some features of the app work, and some do not, on my 2022 F150. I only keep it on my phone for the door lock and unlock feature, just in case I lock my keys inside. Vehicle location and TPI are pretty good, not the most accurate. I don't utilize the remote start feature but I can see how some people might. Overall, worth keeping on phone but rarely used. Trying to redeem Ford Points is impossible as app keeps crashing.
