any monthly subscription for an irc client is absurd. however this "app" functions well. if you only need one server connection, temporary disconnect persistence, and automatic continuity between devices, this is perfect (if you're lazy). if you NEED the paid features, do not use this service, and learn how to do it yourself for free. also this app is literally just the website, wrapped up with an icon.

Really enjoying the app so far; it's fairly intuitive to use and has some features I've been unable to find in other IRC apps. The only thing keeping me from giving it that fifth star is the lack of local logging; I know the conversations are saved on the cloud and can be downloaded from it, but I'm having some trouble getting that to work on my phone (probably user error, but still.) And I'm just more comfortable with having the option of local logs ready to refer to when I don't have internet.

Literally the only IRC client that is worth using. There is no escape if you have a smartphone and everything else is trash in comparison despite the data collection. There are just so many neat features and quality of life improvements and things bolted onto this client. That you'd probably end up spending money on it god forbid.
