Ratings and reviews

The app is fine, helpful even, but Snapshot sucks. You're required to allow it constant access & it drains the battery. Turning it off doesn't help bc it'll turn itself back on even if the phone hasn't moved at all. The driving records are inaccurate, too. Some are logged, some are not. If you use hand-free through Bluetooth, it'll log it as if you're using the device. It has logged my trips as if I'm riding on a bus/bicycle & if you hit a pothole it activates hard braking. It's not worth the $.

I recently switched to Progressive insurance from another carrier who also used an app to monitor your driving. I've only been using this app for about 1 week & I absolutely love it!! Now that I have a point of reference, I can say this app is 100% better than what I've used in the past!! This app allows you to indicate if you are a passenger, using a rideshare or public transportation. It shows you the data that has been collected so you can see in real time if it's accurate. I love it so far!!

"Progressive Is Running" this app sucks. its constantly in my notification bar for no reason. I dont even have progressive coverage right now, and it doesnt have permission to track anything yet its constantly "running" on my device and notifying me of such. Very stupid app design. Will never return to progressive as a result. The app is too bright, as well.
