If you’d asked me a few days earlier, I would have said they offer perfect customer service and solve every single problem seamlessly. I thought I would never change my bank. However, I noticed that they automatically charge €5 for each SWIFT transfer received. Even if the sender pays all the costs, the receiver still has to pay. We ended up paying €45 in total for just a €500 transaction. When I checked my accounts in detail, I noticed that I had paid this fee many times.

The application to open the account was fast and very convenient. But to get the card costs 10 euro shipping, and it doesn't say it anywhere until I reached the final step - the option to get it for free is to send messages to 5 friends and I can't do that (no one likes to get advertisements in Germany..). Anyway, I'm very disappointed because if it starts like this, I'm not sure if I want to trust them as a main bank account (which I'll need in the next few months). I'm giving up.

Love it or hate it... The new V3 version design paired with the steep monthly price made me say goodbye. Some of the Bunq features are nice to have but they are not essential to do banking. And when you have to start googling where to find some functions in the app because the interface is confusing, it's not a good sign. I'm back to a no frills, free account. And guess what, I can still pay my bills :)
