You can access your online files. And by now, May 2026, it mostly works. However, the app sometimes blocks you from uploading large folders. When moving small ones inside dropbox, the process stops for no reason and the only way to restart it appears to be to move one of the files to yet another folder, after which this file will be at the end of the queue and the app will continue with the other files. Sometimes delays to show uploads on other devices. But again, mostly works fine.

It's pretty good. I wish it would communicate more easily with the AI. I'm writing a book and usually dropbox works, but sometimes it just says it says unavailable and I have to move my file manually. overall. it's decent. I don't love it, but I'm going to continue to use it. as I said, pretty good, so that's why I gave 4 stars.

Y'all, never ever ever use the Dropbox app on your desktop ever for backing up files to transfer to another computer. I uploaded everything to the app, and it literally said everything uploaded. But apparently, uploading is different than syncing, so I found out that I lost all my files due to this. I'm genuinely flabbergasted that uploading and syncing are so separate. Why would you give users positive feedback if all the files remained unsynced?
