This app use to be so good. It was my go to for cloud files. But for some reason, it glitches out bad when uploading files when you're not on a wifi network. The files get put into a purgatory and never upload. When by chance you do, it sits there and acts like it still is, taking up background resources for no reason. Even when you turn off wifi only uploading, it turns itself back on. I'm using Samsung s23 ultra.

What a frustrating, useless, and garbage app. Even on WiFi, the app just hangs and takes hours to upload even a single photo. Will be stuck on one or multiple uploads at a time. Pictures are grayed out in the Drive app. Can't cancel. Can't retry. Can't even see all the pics when the uploads are supposedly complete. How is this first party android app so horrible? It works fine in a browser on a PC, but I need to be able to reliably upload from my phone, too. So BROKEN.

Hi, Joshua. Have you tried to upload the file to Google Drive using a different network? Hope this helps!

There's an annoying bug currently where if you try to upload a file over cellular, the app correctly prevents you from doing so, but if you click resume upload, it'll upload your file but Drive will still show the item you uploaded as grayed out and says "waiting for WiFi," despite it actually being uploaded, which can be verified by viewing the Drive from a web browser or another device. Edit: Already tried exactly that before writing the review. No improvement.

Hi, Cody. You can choose to use your mobile data or only use Wi-Fi to transfer files. See “Turn mobile data usage on or off” in this article: http://goo.gle/3pbzUK2.
