What is the purpose of the app? Quite useless or I haven't got the hang of it. Tried to pay my shopping with LIDL Pay twice and both times, it didn't work. No help from the staff. Wrote to them via the app about this and no-one has bothered answering. Highly disappointing. *UPDATE* After at least 4 attempts, a helpful and knowledgeable store assistant told me to uninstall what I had and reinstall it but making sure I had "the Canarian version". As it turned out, it wasn't exactly a different app but the same one. One has to be alert and realise that there are more than one option to "Spain". Really, the app should be able to identify one's location by the postcode. What I like most about the app is when you pay with the phone, it stores the receipt. What would be fantastic is to be able to search for items within these. One may wish to find the last time an item was purchased or how often an item has been purchased...

Installed fine. Tried to register but despite all showing green the final screen throws me back to set password. A never-ending loop. Gave up after about 10 attempts and uninstalled app. Update. Finally got it to work. All good now. A bit clunky and offers not that well targeted Update. App now just hangs for a minute or more on the loading screem with EM football bear. Leave for ages it may go into app. Maybe not. Not a good look at the checkout. VERY ANNOYING

Not very user friendly. Aside from activating coupons I never use this app. When you want to browse through a digital flyer it directs you to a website. And only some of the items can be added to a like list. Also, shoping list is at the very bottom of the more option. I prefer Lidl app, where you can see the flyers and add the items directly to a shoping list. The Lidl plus app needs to make adding items to a shoping list lot simpler. It would be perfect if it was same as with Lidl app.
