I am not sure if this is an Android-related problem, but it seems that videos exceeding an hour of length won't play. In fact, the moment I scroll passed the folder where this certain video is stored, the app will immediately close, and this made me temporarily change to my device's default gallery app. Other than that, it has a really nice design, but it definitely lacks many features present in Google Photos — I hope all of this gets fixed.

It's a pretty good app. It was something I was looking for. But my main criticism is how plain it is. There is nothing nessicerly dynamic. I don't mean to make it exactly like Google photos, because it's much more easier to manage. However, you can't rename your albums. You would have to delete it and name it again. I wish there were more options and things you could do, like make a custom photo for an album. (Please take this into some account) Also fix bugs but that's about it.

So much better than the Photos app, which is always trying to make me backup my photos and has a terrible layout. Gallery has a much simpler layout and doesn't try to push anything on you. It's almost a perfect app, the only thing I wish it could do is edit photos better and have a Google Lens button when viewing photos. Then it would be 5 stars
