Ratings and reviews

The latest update is terrible. It's slow and barely responds. When the app starts up it bombards you with a prompt for what you want to do. I don't want a prompt. I want to navigate to my settings or routines or view the state of my smart home sensors. I don't want to speak or type to my phone. It's faster to just navigate to it and dismissing the stupid prompt just slows me down. I'm regretting using Alexa for home automation more and more every day.

literally cannot use anymore, I ask in app to set a timer for 30 minutes on the nursery echo and the app not only requires me to ask twice or more for it to load a response, it keeps saying I don't have a device named that and pulls up options I don't even own. I can't ask to play music, set timers/reminders, basic questions, etc. anymore since the latest update

With each update this app gets less user friendly. I use to open the app and on the first page see my timers. Now I have to search for them. When I looked up that feature I was told it's not available. 😒 Latest one dumbed it so far down all I get is a blank area with a microphone button. What if I am in a place where I don't want to be vocal? I assumed that the idea behind the Alexa stuff was to make life easier. I was wrong. 🤦🏼‍♀️
