About this app

BimmerCode allows you to code the control units in your BMW or MINI to unlock hidden features and customize your car to your liking.

Activate the digital speed display in the instrument cluster or allow your passengers to watch videos while driving in the iDrive system. Do you want to disable the Auto Start/Stop function or the Active Sound Design? You will be able to code this and much more by yourself with the BimmerCode app.

I wanted 3 coding changes to my F20 - Auto start/stop disabled, door handles lit when reversing, and no horn beeping when locking the car while the engine was running. My local BMW specialist wanted £120 for this. I bought this App and did it myself in 5 minutes. Plus it opens up a world of coding options for the future. It's not the cheapest, but it's very good at what it does. The auto-backup feature is spot on. One warning - use a supported/recommended OBD reader - it won't scan for others.

Well, it did what I wanted, though it did not show all the menus for my m3 of 2024. The biggest issue is complete absence of state restore support. If you only switched from the app to network settings, YouTube to find the exact name of the menu - the app is cooked. Lost connection or restarted from scratch. Honestly this is not good if you charge 50 eur/usd.

I repaired my car, and then cleared the fault with it. It also paid for itself immediately and I have it for the future...it's a no brainer...!
