Ratings and reviews

An excellent video editor for beginners that has some surprisingly powerful features and an excellent UI. Automatic caption creation, good quality automatic audio clean-up, a decent selection of transitions and filters, and the ability to fine-tune the look of each clip should you want to. It takes the best of the Google Photos editor and applies it to phone-based video editing. I like that you're not forced to immediately upload it to YouTube and can just export an .MP4 if you want. Brilliant!

The app has potential. But whenever I try to export any video, It just says that it failed and to try again later, making the app basically useless. And everytime I try to add an animaton to text, then The text just won't apear and I have to close and re-open the app. I think the app COULD be good but right now, It really just isn't. I get it's a demo but I would atleast expect it to half work. The main problem is the fact none of the videos can actually be downloaded

As far as free apps go it nice smooth. I think it's a good-ish start. My expectations were high as I had read an ad that said it was better than CapCut. To reach this comparison there's a lot to do on behalf of the Create app. If your Vlogging or doing a quick video on the fly for your Youtube channel yes it could be useful. But Chroma, transitions and a lot of other stuff would be needed to pry me away from CapCut. And a few other features too. But it's still a good start 👍

What's new

YouTube Create is currently in beta and is available on phones running Android 8.0 or later with at least 4GB of RAM. We will continue to add new features and improve YouTube Create over time.
