Ratings and reviews

I really would like to get into using this app. It allows you to install extensions which is a big positive. However, being unable to show selected bookmarks on the homepage is very frustrating, as is not being able to quickly change between light and dark mode. These are features currently available in my current browser (Opera)

I've been unhappy with Chrome for a while. but mostly carried on with it, because all my bookmarks and everything were there. but the straw that broke the camels back was disabling ad blocking extensions from the browser. Sad to say that Google is acting in an increasingly unethical way; taking users choice and security away from them, in order to benefit their own bottom line! as far as Firefox is concerned, installing, syncing across platforms an importing everything over was really easy.

Firefox on Android now offering an online translation so you do not have to download loads of languages is a god send. And now having a wider range of extensions has meant I have fully switched from Kiwi to Firefox across all devices including PC. The only thing that stops this being a 5 star is not having the ability to set my own homepage which still bothers me immensely.

What's new

- For new users, the address bar's default position has moved from the bottom of the screen to the top. The "Customize > Toolbar" setting can be used to move the toolbar back to the bottom.
- Firefox now uses resizes-visual as the default value of the interactive-widget property of the viewport element. This results in a more usable layout on many pages.
