For some reason the only option for viewing previous year maps is through time-lapse now. Which means you have to sit and wait for it to flip through every year and you have to try and pause on the year you want but that's all you can do. I remember a long time ago you use to be able to select the year you want to veiw and you could explore around on that year but now the only option is time-lapse and it's annoying.

Search, access to settings & features is very unreliable or missing. I try to search an area of interest & it gives me top results where I am not the area of interest. Search results doesn't match names given by other people. Tapping loctions may or may not work. Tap a location & I can't measure until I tap a non-location. No obvious way to give in app feedback. After street view it can loose your desired last location by a long sideview looking over the horizon, try to look down & it's lost

I love it. I would have given it 5 stars save for the fact that I'm keen to see historical UK county boundary lines available in the map. In 1974 esp. the English boundaries were messed up by the then government and things have been left in a confused muddle since. A facility to turn on/overlap current vs historical county boundaries would be very useful. The Yorkshire Ridings Society website has a map of the county's exact historical boundary for example, which could be transferred.
