Ratings and reviews

Not happy with app. Review on patch of no manual resolution: latest update made the resolution stuff not comfortable. Why? I wish I could select manually resolution every time. It's more comfortable. I'm not updating and so happy to return with the stock app on the phone. Review on August 2024: It's so bad that you can't manually select shorts quality. Just "Auto, Higher picture quality and Data saver" big surprise, none of those work. If you have a bad connection at a given moment then sorry

Hi, my experience with YT has been amazing but I have a problem. As the devices are growing in screen size the next thing is going impossible. When you watch a video in full screen and you want to go to a specific part of the video, the red indicator(the red bar indicates where are you in the video) goes down until the end of the screen. Please, maintain the red indicator as the normal watching video because is completely annoying.

I've been a long-time user of YouTube, and one of the features I valued the most was the background player. It allowed me to listen to content while multitasking, which was incredibly convenient. Unfortunately, with the recent update, this feature has been removed, and it's disappointing to see such a useful option taken away.For those of us who use YouTube not just for video but also for music, podcasts, and other audio content, the background player was a game-changer.
