The My BMW App is optimised for vehicles built from 2014 onwards. The availability of individual app functions depends on your vehicle equipment and your BMW ConnectedDrive contract. The availability of app functions may vary between countries.

Ratings and reviews

With the previous BMW app, as well as this app, it happens too many times that the login credentials are lost. Recently again got an app update. Wanted to use it just before a trip. Had to enter credentials again. Wanted me to request a new password. After logging in again the vehicle information seems lost. BMW this s.cks. Happened too many times that the app couldn't be used after an update. I hope your software engineers who do abs have better skills.

Before I updated this app, it was working just fine. That I couldn't change "miles" into "km" I took for granted. It would be nice though to be able to select the preferred distance metrics. Since the update of today I can't add my BMW vehicle anymore. If this doesn't change soon, I have to decrease the star from 2 to 1. This version of the app is not to BMW standards...

How often do i need to input my password and a new pin again as if it's a new app.... Could be an awesome app but it's just frustrating how glitchy it is, and that you need to pay an annual fee to use most of it's functionality. So why not just let people use the rest of the functionality, now i can't send Google locations to my car because i haven't paid the map updates but c'mon, I'm not going to pay just to send locations to the car, yet it's a simple thing that would make life better.
