A huge problem in the sleep tracking app space is apps do not provide a clear list of which features are freemium and which are pay-for. Sleepwave is no different. Most of the important features, such as trends, cost $2-$6 a month. They provide a list of features when you go to make the purchase. In terms of the app itself, it has less features than many others, but a unique interface. Sleep Tracker by Leap Fitness and Sleep Calculator are the best free apps I've found.

Was using a different app but it had started glitching, trying this instead. I like it, but there's a huge but. The volume control is a problem, I like having something on when I fall asleep but quietly. This app demands the volume doesn't go below 30% which is way too loud to be relaxing. The other similar apps I've tried either use the mic or motion sensors, not the speakers. Last night the app just shut itself down after an hour so no alarm at all this morning, unreliable.

Positives: The smart alarm clock is great. No ads which is great. The free version gives you everything you'll need without hiding important features behind a pay wall. Negatives: I'm not sure how accurate the tracking is as I've looked back at sleep data and it's said I was asleep when I know for a fact I was awake, I often struggle to fall asleep and it can take me hours to finally drift off so when it says it took me 1 min to fall asleep I don't believe it.
