Ratings and reviews

not easy to use at all. location settings are horrible to manage. you can change your location 100 times yet your device will still be giving you information about the old location. You get a notification saying "you can connect x app" and when you follow this notification it immediately says "service not available". while the device is good, the app is equally horrible and Amazon will never improve it.

keeps turning the volume down, doesn't know much and only listens when it wants too.. Will happily turn notifications on from the device but you need to turn them off using the app.. This app says it is constantly improving and has not in the last 5 years in any way.. soon as I get a better option that works its in the bin. Amazon don't call me because I wrote a negative review like last time as its just plain creepy... Better you spend your money on this app and not on making space woke.

For such a thriving business, Amazon's software is terrible. Two Echo dots are not working with the app. Adding devices is awkward at best, usually fails, and has to be done again a few months later due no reason, despite being used on a daily basis. Of course the is no other option once you have the hardware, so you're stuck.
