It's a little clunky. It works, but connecting receipts scanned or photographed at a different time to a particular expense is not as easy as it should be. Also, at least on Android, logging is doesn't seem to work right half the time. I end up having to terminate the app and reopen it to get it to bring up the fingerprint login. Otherwise, it sits with the weird blinking on-screen like it's in a loop. Programming exceptions and time-outs needs much improvement. Needs a receipt viewer also.

Verifying my account doesn't work on the app or the mobile website. Only on desktop, which makes having via benefits on mobile completely useless. The app and my phone are both fully up to date. Why do companies make things for mobile if they don't bother to check if they work?? T-Mobile is like this too! So annoying and inconvenient.

For me, this app is useful for performing quick lookups and checks of our accounts. I prefer to use a PC and Via Benefit's Web interface for performing more meaty account activities. When using the 'Camera' to submit a reimbursement request, the cropping of the photo doesn't work. You go through process, rotate the photo, moving the corners and all then click Save; the photo view reverts back to original.
