5.0 appears to have resolved and streamlined my previous issues: Premium Subscription using the VW ID4 with Android Auto. I'm also using enode for vehicle live SOC (state of charge) data. I'm quite impressed with the 'set it and forget it' overhaul this update accomplished. Offline maps isn't available yet, maybe it's coming. But I can't ignore the improvements elsewhere.

There's a bit of a learning curve, but that's probably because ABRP is so technically deep. For long trips it's great when paired with a compatible OBDII device. The ability to see what my state of charge will be at the next waypoint or destination is super helpful. The little icon showing the speed and status of my next charge stop is good too.

I could put up with the increasing slowness, occasional freezes and bugs...but now that there are popup surveys at each charge stop that can't be disabled, I have no more love for this app. Add to this that the car's built-in routing has gotten much better, this isn't worth using anymore, let alone paying for it. It was fun while it lasted, sad to see what was once such a great app slowly die like this.

Hi, to improve our knowledge of charging location quality and the overall experience for you and other users we show 0-2 questions towards the end of the charge session, depending on if the user has answered them before and with some randomness. If you find that the app behaves silly feel free to reach out to us via our official support options.
