About this app

Official Australian Government myGov app to use myGov on your mobile. The myGov app makes dealing with government simple and easy.

You can use this app to:
· securely sign in to myGov on your mobile with a myGov app PIN, fingerprint recognition and face recognition
· easily view and manage your myGov Inbox messages
· quickly access your services
· store some government digital cards and certificates in the digital wallet.

You need a myGov account to set up the app. If you don’t have an account, create one on the myGov site, go to my.gov.au

myGov is not the same as myGovID. myGovID is the Australian Government’s Digital Identity app. For more information about myGovID go to mygovid.gov.au

Ultra complicated to the point I can't pay my BAS. I login to mygov, no problem there, sign in to MyGovID , no problem there but when I try to enter ATO as a linked service it says my identity strength is different. I have spent hours and countless times trying to correct this with no luck now I have to employ the services of my accountant for a fee to pay my BAS which is something I can do myself if only I could access my ATO profile!

I wish there was a zero star option. Put my login details in then the SMS code then it just sits on a white login screen and does not progress. Even if I close the app or try again it just shows the blank white screen. Another government app that does not work.

It works, kind of. But for example when viewing health results, every time you go back to the home screen of my gov. Very poor design
