I'm not able to control much from the app. I can't restart the dryer from my phone, which I was hoping to do. Tech support couldn't help. You can "remote start" from your phone, but you have to physically set it up first on the machine. It's just easier to use delay start instead of having to remember to start it from my phone. For these reasons, I dont use the app. The one nice feature is that the app allows it to connect up to Alexa, which notifies me when a cycle completes.

I use SmartHQ to manage two A/C units. Sometimes it works, but the app gives the wrong status! If I go into settings from the app, it will show the thermostat set to 86° or the status wrong. When I try to change it, the app will require multiple attempts before it might "show" what I am trying to set. Today the app is showing completely different info than what the A/C is showing, and I just rebooted the network. It's not a very reliable or useful tool if I can't count on it to change the A/C's.

This AC runs nearly forever. If it does shut off it will start back up within seconds. The internal thermostat is never accurate, it will indicate that it is at least 5 degrees colder than the actual temperature of a nearby thermometer. Compressor is very loud with an annoying hum. The air sampling feature is in itself annoying as well. Coming on for 10 seconds and turning off, about every 5 minutes. Considering selling and going with different manufacturer.
