Ratings and reviews

It's been hit and miss for a few years, mostly being a miss. When these stop working, I will be opting for a more reliable brand. With this flashy new "upgrade," I find that I have to click more between screens to do what I want. The older version, I clicked less. Horrible update!!!! The previous methods were FAR more efficient and easier to use. AVOID ARLO.

Good, but could be better. The cameras start recording when there's movement, but the first couple of seconds will always be cut off and you can't see when the movement started. You can set activity zones where it only records movement in the selected areas. But the zones are squares and you can't adjust the shape to better fit the area you want to record. In the notifications, it will show a short GIF of the video so you don't have to open the app to see what's happening. Needs a few fixes.

Useless equipment. When I take them down to charge, they do not connect back to the app. The app never sincs with them. I've had two computer techs from my provider out here, and they couldn't get the app to even discover one of them , let alone reconnect to the other two. I've got two of 4 still running, but after that, they are just decorations. Due to illness and a brutal winter, I could not install them for months, so I know I can't return them. 👎
