About this app

Official Australian Government myGov app to use myGov on your mobile. The myGov app makes dealing with government simple and easy.

You can use this app to:
· securely sign in to myGov on your mobile with a myGov app PIN, fingerprint recognition and face recognition
· easily view and manage your myGov Inbox messages
· quickly access your services
· store some government digital cards and certificates in the digital wallet.

You need a myGov account to set up the app. If you don’t have an account, create one on the myGov site, go to my.gov.au

ABOLUTELY USELESS if you have to use digital id. Mygovid - another app to download that doesn't work at all. There's no communication between the two platforms. Spent over an hour trying to link to the ATO. Instructions are non existent, times out. Constantly telling me I have the wrong password (I just changed it because I thought it was wrong...). What a joke.

Times out after a few minutes. You kinda have to find your way around but trying to do anything in the app is awful as it just times out every few minutes, this needs to be addressed & resolved. It took me what seemed like a lifetime to set up, as by the time I'd finished, it had timed out, oh & you don't get any notice or offer to extend the time, so I lost everything & had to restart. It doesn't recognise my id, even though I have it saved & if you get locked out, you lose everything 🤷🏻‍♀

I have an Oppo CPH2195. I need the QRscan on the front page to confirm MyGov Stat Decs. The QRscan worked when I last used it a few months ago. However, in the last week every time I use the QRscan it freezes and closes the App. I have rebooted my mobile and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the App multiple times. I still have the same issue. This is very frustrating!!!

· We’ve added passkeys as a simple and more secure way to sign in to your myGov account. Create a passkey in your myGov account Sign in settings.
· You can now add your Veteran White and Gold cards to the myGov wallet.
