The whole point of the Ring for me is to know when someone is at my door. Why do I hear people walking in the house with no alerts and when I go to the app, I see that the motion detection is turned off?? I have had to turn it back on SEVERAL times and the app is updated!! It's very annoying and unreliable for me and my families safety. No one else has access to the device to even be turning it off. Very frustrating.

Planning on getting this security camera but not invest in the monthly plan? Well save yourself some money and don't bother with it unless you're committed to spend even more money a month to access the camera. It only works well when you're paying for the subscription, otherwise... the camera is useless and the Ring developers make it that the camera doesn't connect to your wifi unless you're paying every month. It's really frustrating.

I recently switched to Ring from their competitor. The doorbell was a major improvement. I have only 1 really minor suggestion... The widget icon to the doorbell is ugly and takes up too much space (2x1). Add a way to chang the icon and make it 1x1 and this would be the perfect compliment to a great doorbell. Nitpicky I know. OCD? Definitely. Otherwise thanks for a great doorbell.
