Ratings and reviews

All of the little things would be negligible if they didn't add up to my inability to use Spotify properly on my echo. I've learned to work around it, but i shouldnt have to think this hard to figure out how to get the device to understand. The random ads are also annoying, but I couldn't find a way to turn them off. Anything good about it is not unique to Alexa; all AI have their issues, I guess. Only leaving this review bc it's the 10th time it asked........ which is a seperate issue.

The most sluggish app on my phone - from a company selling high tech. Whoever did the last redesign must hate music. The music controls used to be one of the five buttons at the bottom of the home screen. Now there are only three and "Play" was shunted to a sub-menu. Thank you Amazon for assuming that this feature was unimportant to me and others. Wish the home screen was more customizable to add individual elements I use most, like music & activating routines, instead of irrelevant suggestions.

It works fine when you want it to work. Unfortunately it also interrupts when you don't need it. It tries to "help" anytime it hears a keyword, and there are apparently random noises that it thinks are close enough. If the tv is on Alexa will be all excited to help. Crowd noise, same thing. I'll turn it off until I hear it's been improved.
