About this app

Watch over your property from anywhere with Ring Video Doorbells, Security Cameras and Alarm systems.

Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras can send you real-time alerts when someoneโ€™s at your door or motion is detected. Keep an eye on what matters with live HD video and greet visitors with Two-Way Talk. With a compatible Ring Protect subscription (or free trial), you can review, save and share your Ring videos.

Ring Alarm systems let you monitor entrances and indoor spaces, so you can be notified about unwanted visitors. Opt in to Assisted Monitoring (compatible Ring Protect subscription required) to notify your emergency contacts via an automated call when a security issue is detected.

Whether youโ€™re halfway around the world or just popping out to the shop, with Ring, youโ€™re always home.

What you can do with the Ring app:

- Get real-time doorbell and motion alerts on your smartphone or tablet
- See and speak with visitors with HD Video and Two-Way Talk
- Arm and disarm your Ring system
- Allow access to your building for authorised guests and services with Ring Intercom

Person detection and zones used to work... Now it always detects cars as people. And also when tree branches move in the wind. If it was happening in the zone I designate, I wouldn't be as annoyed, but it's all happening outside of the zones. Tried adjusting the zones and the motion sensitivity and just about everything else I could think of, but nothing works to fix this. Tried looking up solutions online, too, but nothing works. I probably get 100 alerts/day because of this.

Recently updated and now the app will not even open. Still having issues. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app 2x now. App says poor Wi-Fi signal. I have never had this issue before and now cannot even connect. What's the deal? I do not want to pay for something I cannot use or access. How a about a credit on our bills!! Quit taking our money and fix the problems.

No more notifications. What's security if it won't notify you of threats. Worked great till the recent updates over last 6 months. None have fixed the issues that many are reporting. Been with Ring for many years. Will change out my security system to another brand and not look at ring again. The first job of security is to notify. It's been months since I've seen notifications on any of our mobile devices. This is not an isolated issue as the reviews show. Hope everyone shares issues they have.

Hi Aaron, thank you for reaching out. Check that your Ring app is fully updated to the latest version, and make sure the Ring and Motion Alerts are toggled on. We also have troubleshooting steps for notification issues here bit.ly/3IXvRxB. If none of these suggestions do the trick, send us a PM on Facebook @Ring. We're happy to help!
