Getting started

Youā€™ll need some data to download the app for the first time, but data charges no longer apply when using the SA app itself. If you have a connection, you can do your banking!

Transactional features are available to Standard Bank accounts held in South Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Lesotho, Malawi, eSwatini and Namibia. Keep in mind that some types of payments include transaction fees.

After using the app for over a month now, I find that the budgeting system is very efficient. I always struggled with the competitors version, but this one is very stable and fast. I love the Virtual Card System because it uses a a top up system rather than directly debitting your main account. Can you implement a category in money movement to indicate when you transfer money to a virtual card or other account. Also the Virtual Cards transactions should have more detail, and should be tracked.

UPDATE WITHIN 5MIN OF THIS: I will not go into a branch. I just very easily set up FNB app, logged in and absolutely no issues. You need to get with 2024 Cannot log in and gives me errors. What security risk, sweetie. I have to use my location and don't you save thst location, sweetie. I literally only have an account with you when I got my passport renewed. Your log in methods are absolutely terrible and this is not just my experience. I have a few second hand experiences. Always poor.

I am a new Standard Bank account user but the frustration I have in just 1week of using this apo is unmatched. It constantly requires me to link my account and even after soo many attempts, the accounts still don't appear on the dashboard. I can't buy or transact using it. It's soo monotonous and frustrating. I hate this app because it's not user-friendly even for first-timers. Please fix your problems.
