Improved but with one added minor irritation. When you log out it goes back to the login page and displays the fingerprint sensor, which you then have to navigate away from with the back button. A message is then displayed 'Fingerprint Not Recognised, you've reached the maximum attempts', even though you haven't touched the fingerprint sensor. As I said it's a minor irritation but it didn't do this previously so why is it doing it now?

Completely unreliable. More time is spent trying to get the TSB app to work than actually using the app. Frequently stops loading and needs reinstalling. It then takes a lot of time to re-set up your details. Sick of seeing "you need to set up your device again". Not worth it for simply checking your account balance. Need to look for an alternative banking company. I am now banking with Chase and have so far had no problems logging into their app or making payments through them.

Hi Richard, I'm sorry to hear that. If you're frequently being asked to set up your device again, please check your device settings and make sure private DNS is switched off, or make sure you're not using a VPN or other privacy blocking apps that may be interfering with the app's security technology. Every security update that's pushed through from Google seems to mess about about with the fingerprint scanner setting. I've always used this setting as I feel it gives the most protection. But every monthly security update seems to remove this fingerprint option that I set within the app and it will revert back to memorable details to log in. It's kinda frustrating this happens. I then have to go into the app. Turn off fingerprint, exit app, login app,turn on fingerprint, exit app then it works

Re-order your dashboard

You can now personalise how you display your accounts on your home screen. Re-order them, hide them, bring them back – so the ones you use most often are at the top.

Add Google Wallet

We’ve made it easy to activate Google Wallet on your phone. Just go to “Manage Cards” and add your TSB card to Google Wallet.
