Ratings and reviews

The Barclays app used to be good, but not anymore. Whoever messed around with it should be fired. Some screens can easily be read. Other pages the font size is way too big and you don't know who the charge is from. The scrolling feature doesn't work properly to view charges. I'd be better off getting paper statements in the mail again! You also can't redeem points on the app. You can only do so on the actual website. What a waste of an app. ...and yes, I do have Android 12 already on my phone!!

The new app user interface is terrible, the process of logging into the new app is cumbersome, slow and obnoxious. And base app list of accounts just have the account numbers, not the names I've given the accounts so I know what they are. I like the banking policies of Barclays, but the app has had many issues over the years. And this change has not been smooth sailing.

The old app worked fine. On the new app I cannot deposit checks. When I click on the upload photo of front or upload photo of back of check nothing happens. I have the phone set to allow camera permission when using the app, I am running the latest updated Android 13. I now as a workaround have to take photos of the checks, email them to myself, save them on my PC and then log in on my PC and upload from there. Tried phoning but gave up after over an hour on hold.
