Netspend is awful. For one, everything you use the card for ends up costing YOU money. To buy a bag of chips at the store, I was charged a $1.95 "purchase transaction". Haha. I'm sure withdrawals cost your first born. Secondly, just trying to move money off the card to another account is futile. It could possibly be done. I tried to get it done for 20 minutes, but I gave up and decided to go with another card from one of the other 1 million whose apps aren't worthless.

The update is garbage. Log in credentials no longer populate from the keyboard, username and password must be retrieved manually now. Savings account transfer option is presented like you can move from debit to savings but nope, no option to input dollar amounts. No app notifications when a purchase is made, email notification only. I've used this card for a long time and this is the worst mobile app update that has ever been released. FIX IT, please.

Horrible banking app. I've been using NetSpend for 6 months now. Every week I mobile deposit a check. I had money in savings and my checking. I went on to once again deposit a paycheck today to receive an error message directing me to call customer service, which I did, just to be told they shut my account down. They couldn't give me a specific reason, just said it was one of several they weren't sure which, and that they would mail out the remaining funds within 30 business days. What a joke.
