This app monitors the current Eskom load shedding status and notifies you if the power is scheduled to go off in your area.

Please note:
This app includes schedules for ALL Eskom supplied areas (nationwide) and ALL known municipality supplied areas (nationwide) that publish load shedding schedules. If your municipality is not included, please send an email to [e-mail] to get it added.

I have been using this reliable app since 2020. Not only is it free, but also flexible: convenient and multi-area functional. I love it. I rated this app two years ago (April 2022) My view of the app, since then, has not changed. The app loads fast, it is reliable, and free. And I have never experienced any buggy behavior. I am grateful to the developers for this elegant piece of software.

It's the best we've got, but its still a buggy mess. Now my ads have returned even though I've paid for ad free.. Won't restore purchases. No doubt this will be fixed, but every update of this app brings some new issues.. Shocking quality, but sadly in line with most local apps, feels like SA mobile devs are always a few years behind. Edit... Ads were fixed for a while, but now they're back again...it seems to happen every other update, no other app I have does this. So annoying.

The app doesn't always make sense and the user interface isn't friendly. I would recommend a manual be added to the app detailing explanations as to what you're looking at and what certain things mean. The times regarding loadshedding wasn't always accurate, but I won't place the blame on the app but rather on goverment who always seem to cock up better than what they get things right!! So to be fair I'll give it a 3 star rating until such time that the app improves or goverment does!! 😁👍🇿🇦
