Ratings and reviews

it's fine as far as titles. it,d be a site better if hard copies were also offered like Amazon/kindle. Some Books need to be collected for the shelf. Apart from that and the prices seem a bit high considering the age and easily findable pdf free versions. Also having the same romance in every genre known from vampires to walking dead to werewolves to walking dead werewolf vampires all set on some ridiculous love scenario pushed at every single turn can become extremely grating. It's average.

I cannot download the ebooks I have purchased for some reason. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it didn't work. It keeps saying "The book cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later." It's been like this all day. This is the first time I am having such an issue with google books. I can still download the samples of unpurchased ebooks though. This is very strange. Help. (april, 2025) issue seems fixed, not too sure how though, still a little slow, rating changed to 4 stars

This is one of my favourite apps. I like that my google books stay with me and also I am absolutely obsessed with the ability to listen to books. I find this much better, but I am disappointed that there is no option to select specific chapters easily when the app is used in Android Auto. I wish it was easier, similar to YouTube Music where there is a queue to select from. Also, I would like to see more books that Google has as audiobooks as there are some great books that never make it.
