About this app

For your devices and items
• View your phone, tablet, headphones, and other accessories on a map–even if they’re offline.
• Play a sound to locate your lost device if it’s nearby.
• If you’ve lost a device, you can remotely secure or erase it. You can also add a custom message to display on the lock screen in case someone finds your device.
• Find your devices and items on Mobile and supported Wear OS devices.
• All location data in the Find Hub network is encrypted. This location data is not visible even to Google.

For location sharing
• Share your live location to coordinate a meetup with a friend or check on family to make sure they got home safe.

Ratings and reviews

This app single handed helped me find my mom's stolen bag. I found it very useful at tracking the device and sharing its location. However, I do wish that the audible alarm would be different from the usual phone ring tone. If it was a blaring alarm, it would definitely make it more difficult for thieves to try and shake it off as a mere phone call. Maybe it's just a Samsung specific issue, but it would be a great improvement to the app to have a more obnoxious alarm tone.

I mean, don't get me wrong, this works great for finding your device but I wish there were more options than ringing at full volume. There have been a few times when I misplaced my phone at night but didn't want to wake the entire neighborhood with loud ringing. The locator map is so accurate that it takes you within feet of the exact location where low volume or light would definitely be enough. Otherwise quick and easy to use provided you are already logged in to Google.

Sure is easy to find accurate locations for lost devices but it doesn't allow access to "power off" device searching like Samsung account does. If it was linked with my device settings that allows "off power" location I would rate it 5*. I still think it helps me get devices so good job Google find my device app team. Ask those bosses you work for for a raise or at least a pat on the back. You've accomplished something useful. round of bears for all. Yeah that's right, bears! No beers lol
