Ratings and reviews

I used FREE NOW for a taxi in Rome. The app did not clearly explain that the meter could start before pickup. I only saw this information when the driver arrived. The meter reached €21, but after the trip the app showed €15 as the amount paid to the driver. Support did not explain why the app showed the wrong final amount. The pricing is unclear and misleading, and the customer service was very disappointing. I will not use FREE NOW again.

Would not recommend. When you select a taxi option, it advertizes usually €12-15 for a short 10 minute cab ride, however the meter in the cab starts when they accept the fare, not when they pick you up. Also, meter rates in the taxi are much higher than the advertised €12-15. More than once ended up paying 2 to 3x as much. Not worth the convenience. Just go to a taxi stand.

Thieves, worst app, wrong location, unable to communicate with drivers. Despite putting the correct location, it always sends drivers to the wrong location. When you try to contact each other, the apps doesn't allow it. I've had to cancel and have been charged a cancellation fee unfairly. What are you going to do when a driver is at the wrong spot and can't get a hold of them? REFUND ME.
