No more incentives, means going bankrupt? No more internal chat with riders, means sucks! Navigation lagging, means understandable. But still won't let drivers able to cover their cost. Anyway, it's the best on its class.
Works fairly well although the navigation does not seem to discern between car or bicycle. On a bike, I can use bike paths and cut through parks which Google Maps does account for. Can't really run Uber and Maps at the same time due to battery usage. Nice if there were a toggle between car or bicycle. It would also be good to be able to turn off Bluetooth as I am riding a bicycle and do not require Bluetooth. It just turns on by default but is again a needless drain on battery. When accepting multiple orders, it would be efficient at times if the sequence of drop offs could be manually arranged. On occasion I find that it would be more efficient to deliver at say, a drop off nearer to the restaurant or at the top of a hill and then continue. Riding needlessly up and downhill is taxing.
I have been shortchanged on almost every trip. Short paid ranging from $0.30 to $5.00. When inquired, I got typical replies that the fare was calculated based on "upfront fare". The distance and time driven do not add. The discrepancies are poorly handled by Uber support. If you ask Uber to give you beakdown, they never give detailed breakdown of the trip. The earnings are always under estimated and underpaid. I wonder how upfront fare is calculated without considering road delays due to road constructions, collisions on the road, traffic congestion's in Toronto etc etc. Drivers are driving on the road and not flying. Hence their estimated time is always short and drivers bear the loss by Uber's under estimated trips. I will definitely quit when Lyft or simillar company comes to Toronto. Uber has admitted to have short changed drivers in NY since 2015 and has now agreed to pay the penalty. Toronto to follow soon.
I wish it would put the navigation on the cars screen like the Lyft does. If you switch to Google Maps, you can't see the damn uber screen on the cars screen, so you can't accept invites.
It needs to be able to work in landscape mode as navigating with Google maps works better in landscape. It's silly that it's something no one has thought of yet.
Very bad experience.always block my account due to rider complaint.even I also give complaint that not matter. They ignore ....
