The My BMW App is optimised for vehicles built from 2014 onwards. The availability of individual app functions depends on your vehicle equipment and your BMW ConnectedDrive contract. The availability of app functions may vary between countries.

Ratings and reviews

I lost count of how many times I tried to find what I want using Here Maps and I just couldn't, then I have to go to Google Maps, find where I want to go, copy the address and paste it into the BMW's app, and 9 out of 10 times this workaround works fine for me. I'm forcing myself to use BMW's application, but if there is not a big improvement soon, I'll just forget about it and stick to Google Maps. I really don't know for how much longer I can endure.

01.12.22:The application is somewhat fair for what it could provide, both information and operation with the car. And in this last month the application has had connection failures with the vehicle for several days. Right now the connection with the car has not worked for more than 24 hours. FIX IT PLEASE!!! We cannot check how it is loading or if it has finished, or close or open it remotely... nothing ---*Edited 05.12.22 Still the app are not working :(

UNINSTALLED IMMEDIATELY. Completely useless unless you have a new BMW. Even then, it's just a marketing app with a poor interface. Recently purchased my first BMW and I thought I'd download the app to try and look at features that would help (and maybe even make purchases through BMW). However, there wasn't a single thing that was useful to me. VIN was too old and not supported. It would have been great to have access to: servicing schedule/calendar, how to update maps on older vehicles, etc.
