Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2.x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices.

Brilliant!! Open Source with versions for Android, Windows, Linux and it's free with no ads. What more could you want ... AND it even has a donate a beer button for the developer! (go on, buy him a beer) How good is that! And ten years faultless use later, it won't access One Drive. No idea why or whose 'fault' it is, but it can't access OneDrive keepass database. I suspect its a Microsoft fault as I'm finding many other sync issues with Microsoft. But how to fix it.

Good so far - only been a few days. Have it on my phone and tablet to replace another manager that didn't seem to get on with OneDrive on the new phone. Once I got my head round some of the settings this does what I want. It would be nice if the TOTP could be vanished as I don't use it and it's just more screen clutter, and if the UN & PW notifications could be set to stay up after copying - sometimes it takes more than one go to get into a site.

I love it and use it all the time. Reliable. Works cleanly with most simple websites but a bit more difficult with banks etc. that deliberately and for good security reasons make automated logins more difficult. Integrates cleanly with KeePass2 on Windows PC and Linux provided the database is stored on the cloud somewhere and ideally has a strong password and also uses public/private key pair which should not be stored alongside the database! Deals with synchronizing and where necessary merging changes made on multiple devices. Just make sure you keep a clean set of backups just in case you lose access. And keep your master database password very private and stored somewhere secure for when you forget it! The one disadvantage of most password managers is very little chance of recovery if the master password is ever lost! But on the other hand, only having one complex nasty password to remember means that all your other passwords can be even nastier and complex to remember and most important of all, different to each other. That is what KeePass and this Android frontend to it provides for minimal "buy me a beer" cost.
