It's garbage so far....using today for first time, it won't scan, anything extra is a separate charge and I thought those "extras" were standard...so I personally feel that the advertising for this service is misleading. another user has said that the most recent update is the reason the performance is unreliable so I will wait to see if TotalAV can resolve it before I delete the App.

Misleading with wrong advertising, purchased the premium and when I tried to use it started saying have to get further add on. Also tried to download it onto my phone and doesn't accept the username and password that was sent to me at the time of purchase. Not easy to unsubscribe either. After 5 months logged me out saying subscription is over. Trying to contact the customer service is an absolute horrible experience as it is evident on the website. Never again getting total av.

I read the lead-in synopsis of Total AV in a pop-up ad and a bottommost red rectangle said it was FREE. Post installation, however, a notice showed a charge for the app. In my generation (I am 79YO), words such as FREE don't have floating or ephemeral meanings. FREE = FREE. What is going on? Is there another version hidden inside? Perhaps, methinks, the company needs to address this contradictory issue as it is more than a little misleading.
