I was trying to upload my college assignment, and what should have been a simple process turned into a 47minute headache. I faced multiple problems while uploading the file, and the whole process was unnecessarily complicated. The interface feels confusing, complex, and difficult to use, especially when you just want to upload and submit an assignment quickly. A basic file-upload task should not take almost an hour. Google Drive is a great app, but please add a password protection feature for individual folders. 🔐 Users should be able to set a password and enter it whenever they open a protected folder. This would provide extra privacy for personal documents, photos, videos, and sensitive files without needing ZIP/RAR files or third-party apps. Please consider adding this useful feature in a future update! 🙏

Google Drive has become extremely difficult to use lately, especially for college students who rely on it to submit assignments. Even when you are the owner of a folder, the “+” option to upload files disappears after around 24 hours, leaving you unable to upload anything. The same problem occurs even after sharing the folder and giving someone Editor access—the other person is still unable to upload files. This creates unnecessary stress, especially when students have assignment deadlines
