After update, app won't work. My wallet/gpay isn't working for purchases anymore, despite having used it successfully for weeks before this. I checked and I have all the necessary requirements and settings on my phone, but still can't use tap to pay. I believe this is due to the recent updates to wallet and gpay. Very frustrated. Update: I tried contacting Google about it, and they were no help, unfortunately. My tech savvy partner managed to fix it for me.

"unable to load payment info" when trying to use tap-pay. the app layout is absolutely a mess! why would someone think it makes sense for the user to tap on their credit card to add an unrelated loyalty account?! I like the attractiveness and promotional materials offered by the new layout, but not at the expense of basic functionality the user is looking for at the front of a checkout line! The app is not asking for any type of identification verification.

Annoying. Maybe this app fails because it tries to do too many things. Like many people I don't want to keep all my credit cards info on my phone. I mostly just want a convenient place to keep the dozen store loyalty cards I have. The old version of this app used to do that like a pro. Now it takes five minutes, offer refusals, security challenges, etc. just to call up the loyalty card bar code. Hey Google, make two apps and stop getting so many one star reviews.
