Pro tips:
• Gesture cursor control: Slide your finger across the space bar to move the cursor
• Gesture delete: Slide left from the delete key to quickly delete multiple words
• Make the number row always available (enable in Settings → Preferences → Number Row)
• Symbols hints: Show quick hints on your keys to access symbols with a long press (enable in Settings → Preferences → Long press for symbols)
• One handed mode: On large screen phones, pin keyboard to the left or the right of the screen

Ratings and reviews

The voice typing system is extremely poor. Sometimes it doesn't work at all when the internet connection is a bit weak. And when it does work, it converts what I say into completely different words. It cannot catch the right word at the right time. This happens very frequently. For example, I say one thing and it types something else entirely. I've been using Gboard for many many years. But it's gotten so annoying now with recent updates. Autocorrect frequently changes what I'm trying to type and there's literally no way to type what I want to. Earlier there used to be a way to get back what you typed by pressing backspace but for some reason that stopped happening. And the most recent update with the AI features really pushed me over the edge. The pencil image keeps glowing god knows why and I have no idea how to stop it.

I love the Gboard, don't get me wrong, but lately the autocorrect has just been pathetic! If I don't pay extra attention to what it does, the Gboard autocorrect will surely have me killed someday. It takes sentences that make perfect sense and turns them into absolute nonsense. it autocorrects words that are already correct, into something else entirely that makes absolutely no sense. If this doesn't get fixed soon, I'm definitely gonna move over to some other keyboard. SAD.
