You didn't have a place to review your Play Store! And right now it sucks! I used to be able to see a nice matrix of offered apps along with the ratings. Now I have to open each individual app to compare. And I'm using a Samsung 6s edge plus which has a 5.8inch screen . I just recently got your OTA of Android 7.00 and wonder if that might have caused it. Please help me out ..

The resigned news feed is a step in the wrong direction. The topic can be hard to distinguish from the news source (eg if Google thinks I'm interested in the topic "Washington Post" and there's an article on that topic from Huffington Post, the UI makes it hard to distinguish the topic from the source). Long topic names can also prevent me from marking a news story as "Done" since the topic name covers the action menu and the useful swipe-to dismiss feature was removed.

I don't undetstand why this app is made, and why it is needed to be updated every now and then. No one really uses this app much. Whatever you do it has only one feature good that is voice command. This voice command also needs internet connection. I don't see any major changes in updates. Useless updates. Think much and work on this app, use time and give an update. Don't update everyday 1 by 1 new options. Make us happy with a big update. And explore the app by yourself as much you can, you will see various fields where changes are to be made. I need offline voice commands. Please reply. I have taken my time to share this important review to you. Can I get 1000 likes ?

Google is my old friend from way back when I first bought my very first Droid ☎🔋🏫~~~》meaning the FIRST ever Old school smartphones. You've great products, service and everything!. I hope to continue using your services (the services I want to use, not all) 😊 Very informative! Keeps me in the Know of what's going on in the world, my immediate city area, quick loading on Anything I wavy to know. Star amazed me the other day was just for Giggles I said into the microphone in the Google app, a simple "Thank you". Immediately Google responded back with a, "Your Welcome!" Shocked me. They're listening, that's for sure.

Love it, but.. Love everything about it except for three voice button no longer working. It won't stop music or podcastsanymore like it used to. Now it starts detecting the music that the phone is already playing. I think the point is for a clear dictation, not mumbo jumbo from music that hasn't stopped playing. NOT A GBOARD issue, but a Google issue.

I have to change my system language to English and speak everything in English in order for this app to work properly. I am a Portuguese from Portugal and Google's "Brazilian portuguese" simply don't understand a single word a Portuguese from Portugal says... It's not the same language and we have very different accents!!! I thought google cared about all consumers.

Can't delete history, until you've deleted the tab and started a new one. Some times history cannot be found, or if so, it is history that you killed months ago popping up when it should be gone. Problems with finding hiatory. Also in image mode, it doesn't go back to previous screen, it goes to the main images of those screens and you have to start all over if you're lucky enough to remember how you got where you are.

I hate the new black/white card search results display. Much harder to read due to the lack of contrast provided by color previously. All of the white space is a waste and makes it much slower to scroll through the results as there are fewer per screen. Stop making "improvements" just to keep your UI designers busy! At least give us a way to choose the previous look of the apo as an alternative.

v7.1.29: I wish the app would default to the info cards instead of the news. Old issues: Having issues with Package Tracking working reliably. I usually have to search for it. Plus the cards just duplicate emails from companies. To be helpful and reduce my workload, they should tell me the tracking status and alert me when a package has been delivered.

Lately I have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work it just keeps stopping on its own even after reinstallation it only stays up and running for a short time I like Google but if this keeps up I will have to find a different search engine. Now I can't even voice commands to work what is the problem with this thing

Can't turn off "OK Google". Podcasts, radoi commercials trigger it, unfunny friends say it as they walk by, stopping whatever your doing on the screen. Annoying, unsafe - is while driving with Android Auto the phrase supersedes everything including navigation. Seriously, we all understand your branding efforts but it's time for user defined action phrases.

Daily user of this app since it was introduced, since last update it's junk. It just toys to update, little spinning beach ball, nothing comes up, it's like there's no connection when there very well is. Please fix, with all your competitors out these days it only takes something like this to loose users. Without this Google app, I consider this device useless.

Voice command with OK Google fails to respond about 50% of the time, making it completely unreliable. I am on a brand new Motorola Droid Turbo 2 phone with no modifications. This should work, each and every time and it doesn't. Getting real tired of Google's crap

Malfunctions! Whenever I am playing music using an auxiliary cord, the app breaks through in the most annoying way and interrupts my music on any music app, Pandora, Google Play Music, Napster, etc. It also messes with the volumes and when I try to disable the Google App messes up my entire phone and won't let me go to the home screen. Then when I enable the Google App again I have to revamp my home screen with my previous apps as the app resets everything.

Used to be fab - I used it all the time. After most recent update it can't hear me unless I SHOUT. Phone mic is fine for voice calls & all other apps, but assistant just doesn't hear voice commands now. Still works well when queries are typed, but that's not the point of Assistant is it?

I use Google all day every day and the new update makes it look so boring and depressing. It's still as good as ever the layout is just lame. I miss the old Google. It frustrates me to use it now. It's all just black and white and big bulky boxes. No color, it all looks like one big paragraph, nothing distinctive. Please change the layout back to the original.

App is great other than annoying inconvenience that occurs with the "open web pages in app" feature. The feature when on, will work, but will pull up the browser (chrome) first if the browser is running in the background (activity). To bypass this, you would have to press on the multi window button and click on the Google app. I have a Galaxy S8, Android 7, Samsung experience 8.1.

With last 2 updates the google feed takes foreverrrrrrrrr and the search bar widget is the same thing. It's extremely frustrating. Same thing happens when I try to search from Google's home page using chrome. I have service and usually also connected to Wi-Fi. What gives Google? I thought we wanted world domination?

It randomly thinks I said something when I have headphones with a mic plugged in. That is more annoying than an adware virus, it got to the point that I've started trying to remove this program. But when I did so, it came back. This really does feel like a virus. I know Google, it isn't your intention to give us viruses. So please don't force your customers to have them!

The most recent update fucked it all up. I used to able to long press the home button and highlight and copy text and links on screen, now that is gone with many other functions. The app itself doesn't recognize many of the links that show up in my FB feed, meaning I have to type in the links manually. Classic example of trying to reinvent the wheel. I prefer not to talk to an inanimate object (my phone) like a spastic, I have thumbs, I can press buttons. Google is making it harder and harder to a normal human being everyday.

I love Google and their functionality and rely on it heavily. That's why when silly bugsike not being able to swipe right the clear cards shows up unexpectedly its both jarring and frustrating. Please fix and I will restore my 5 star rating!

Honestly, what the hell did you do to break the app? It was working like a charm and the last updates messed it up completely. Now it ALWAYS fails to detect the language spoken.. I have to work in three different languages, and up until last month it was recognizing everything just fine. Now it only understands when spoken in English.

Well, one thing that is happening is that voice search and Assist won't pick up anything. My microphone is fine because I recorded a video with sound so it has to be the app. It was fine at first but afterwards this problem took place. I love Google Assist, but it's hard when she won't listen. The app won't even load half the time as well which is annoying when I need a quick question answered.

Doesn't work well since update. Please bring back the sound to let me know it's ready - now I speak to it and have no idea whether it is on, worked, my sound is off, or what... Usually I use it when I need it to be hands free, so I can't look at the screen. please give me back that ability! Also, can't get it to calibrate to my voice so I can use offline features - I always get an error.

Constantly interferes with other apps. The "hey Google" is initiated with the smallest noises and movements, and doesn't allow any other app to work longer than three seconds. You can't delete the fucking thing so I'm left here with this.

No longer tells jokes, rolls dice, toss coin, speaks weather properly, etc. It just searches google for the phrases rather than initiate a dialogue. App will be disabled as it's lost its usefulness. It worked fine and then suddenly broke. Tried everything to seek a fix, but until they update the update, there doesn't seem to be one.

Used to be my best friend. Of late, I don't know if it is a problem with the search bar or some incompatibility with the MIUI, every time I perform a search and hit enter in a few seconds it gets redirected back to home page. Sooo annoying.

I think that overall, Google IS the best search engine out there. However, there was a recent update that made it look ... different. The new look is confusing, as everything is black and white and the heading are barely enboldened. Needless to say, I'm not happy with it. :(

It's not as smart as they showcase it to be. Still can't choose which sim card to use to call the other person. What's the point of handsfree operation if you have to select the SIM slot after everything.

Every tike I use "Ok Google" , it says "Actually your device is locked". Seriously? I dont even have a password on my phone! Disappointed! Being one of the most premium company in Software, releasing such a blunder in the market. If you cannot, better stay focused on your search engines!

Used to be able to ask "ok google" what song is playing now she says she can't identify songs yet so i have to manually open the app and then ask it directly from the app what song is playing then it tells me. It used to do it perfectly fine before and now with this update it doesn't anymore.

I normally love my Google app. However..... For the past two weeks or so it hasnt been working. I click on it & it was spins & spins, never fully loading. Voice to text is not working, neither is "ok Google" detection. (Which I use daily!)

I have no idea why, but as of the last update, every time I try to search something it acts as though it crashed in the middle of writing my search. It takes away the keyboard and when it comes back to, it brings the keyboard back up with my unfinished sentence in the search bar. It's highly frustrating that I have to use Google chrome directly when I want an instant search. :(

With the new update I can't type a search by text after holding the home button to bring up Google search. Now it is only voice search. Sometimes I don't want to interrupt people around me, or too many people are talking, or I don't want people to hear the search. This is a very bad change and makes me doubly consider switching to a Microsoft phone
