I have a podcast audio file I need to listen to. It's an hour long, downloaded to my device but as there is no Google Cast option built I am forced to listen to it within the app. Opening with YouTube Music only opens a player as an overlay which won't allow me to switch to another screen or cast it either. Poor implementation and integration with Android.

Good but needs improvement. After trying to make Synology Photos work as my personal cloud (only does one-way backup),I've settled on Synology Drive for now, syncing my four relevant photos directories from Pixel 7 phone (1)DCIM/Camera, 2)Screenshots, 3)Whatsappp-saved, and 4)Downloads). This way, photos are backed up but also delete/sync on the NAS when I delete images that are no longer needed. App can't yet compete with Google because "sync on demand" is missing.

I really cannot fully express the level of frustration I feel over the fact that Drive cannot access the photos directory. I absolutely loath how Photos insists on folders but its good for viewing. And drive does excellent backup, but viewing is just mediocre. This whole separate apps do different things and access different folders is incredibly frustrating!
