Thermopro BBQ is app for a programmable radio Bluetooth food thermometer. You will now be able to remotely monitor the time and temperature of food cooking on your grill with a mobile phone, smoker or BBQ.

presets just by type of animal. not cut of meat. it would also be nice if some of the probes were shorter, as unless it's a very thick cut the temperature reading constantly fluctuates up and down because in thinner cuts the probe is hitting different temperatures in different areas so its hard to get an accurate reading. I'm talking up and down 10 degrees or more in less than a minute. a shorter probe would be better for thinner cuts.

I've used this about four times now and so far it's absolutely perfect. the temperatures are accurate and it always stays connected to my phone I never get a disconnect. it has a great alarms that let you know whatever temperature you set it at and you can adjust the temperatures for the different meat so you're not stuck on what it thinks a medium or a medium rare should be you can adjust the temperature if you want to and I love it

App works well the problem is the alarm on the thermometer. What's the point of having the app running on your phone if the alarm on the thermometer can't be turned off remotely? I use the probe for ambient temp so it's more of a guideline. If it goes out of range, my phone alerts me and I know to watch it to see if it drops back down. Meanwhile the thermometer is beeping like crazy and continues to do so until I go over and physically turn it off.
