About this app

PUSH is about building muscle as fast as possible - with science. We achieve this with an AI built on published research. You don't have to take our word for it, you can tap the referenced articles throughout the app as you use it (just look for the yellow microscope).

- Our workouts are based on scientific research and your training data over time. There’s no secret, you can view exactly how everything works in the app and read the references for yourself.

- PUSH generates a program based on your experience, sleep, gender, stress and time available to train. We fine tune your volume, frequency, rep range and exercise selection based on published research relating to these factors.

- Exercises are selected based on resistance curve and rep range.

- Over time PUSH will periodise and progress your program. We use your data to give you actionable insights including daily undulating periodisation systems. Don’t know what that means? You can read our short form (referenced) articles, or don’t! PUSH manages everything automatically for you anyway to keep you gaining.

- Don’t like an exercise? PUSH will suggest the most similar exercises based on fatigue and resistance curve.

Payment will be charged to your iTunes account. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current subscription period. Automatic renewals will cost the same price you were originally charged for the subscription. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.

first and foremost, the app isn't worth the price. it should be a one time purchase of $10, not $80/year. that's absurd. I haven't found that it's better than less expensive apps. what are the benefits of the AI features (if there are any)? it's decent, but it would be nice to have more features. for example, what exercises can I add to compliment the plan without negatively affecting it? I don't feel like the workouts are hard enough.

I set up a programme, and it just gives default weights. There is nowhere to enter max lifts so you get the right percentage. After entering it manually on my workout, you can see next time it just adds 2.5kg. It's pretty with lots of colours and bars to show progress, but actually thats probably all just fake progress. If I hit 10 sets on chest it will tell me I'm optimal, completely ignoring my weights, so it's just smoke and mirrors. The subscription model is free trial only with a year sub.

Good interface and lots of good info for the "why" of how exercises are selected. I wish there was an option for inputting your own training program based off the excercise library in the app though. I realize the point of the app is to generate programs for folks who don't have one, but would still like the option.
