Ads have all but ruined the experience. I wouldn't mind the bar ads. I'd be annoyed with the more obnoxious pop ups, but I could tolerate it. These are full screen ads w/tiny skip button that often get covered by a 'download' so you'll end up pressing it instead, taking you to the app store Edit: Missed the point of my complaint. Ads are acceptable as long as they are TOLERABLE. Intrusive, loud ads that shift to deliberately make you misclick are NOT. "Well then, pay" GTFO with that

We don't design or control ads. We put a spot for Google to insert some ads and they do what they want. Simply put, banners alone generate almost no revenue with such short usage session intervals. If you prefer an ad-free experience, our Premium subscription plans start as low as $29.99/year. That's less than 8 cents per day.

UI is a bit plain and unappealing, but it has good features and dogfooded tools like auto-popping the comment dialog (although I usually want to do this when I start a task). Also I wish the widget displayed the "done at ____" in 24hr time, and all-caps font would look nice. The widget button icons for Play, Break, Pause are also unclear before test pushing them. And the grey transparent widget box with tiny fonts looks ugly on my main home screen.

I unfortunately subscribe to this app. Paid $23.99 for the yearly subscription. Recently I had to change phones, I tried to save my data on the app cloud. But surprise surprise I'm not subscribed. I double check through app store yep there's is my payment on April 19,2024. I email the developer, they emailed me back saying that I didn't have a subscription 😐. I responded on a second email with a screenshoot of my payment. That was July 26 it's Aug. 03 and I have yet to receive a respond email.
