Ratings and reviews

The whole point of having a security camera is to check when you hear something outside - but every single time I try to load Live View during noise or motion, it fails to connect. I even tested it by setting off my own car alarm and the app still wouldn't load. It can't be a coincidence - the feed always fails exactly when it matters. Works fine when nothing is happening, but completely unreliable in real situations. Very frustrating and makes me question the point of owning a Ring cam.

whenever I try to listen in and the volume is really loud even though i found volume settings, turned it all the way down to the lowest and it's still too loud and forcing me to disable the sound because it's hurting my ears. also when I adjust the volume the volume slider moves on my phone but the volume of the audio is not getting any quieter. Also, it keeps saying my trial is about to expire even though i've been paying the monthly subscription fee for over a year now, it's getting annoying

The software designers apparently gave no consideration to pressing the same location on the phone when the phone doesn't respond, because when it finally does respond, the same location on the next screen may change something you didn't want changed. This wastes time and is bad design, and I think the newer version is worse than the older one in other ways, too. Also, Ring in general has problems picking motion up and misses a lot of important footage, including break-ins.
