I hate it!!!! Isn't their any apps where you don't have to pay for books...
I've used half a dozen e-reading apps and if it wasn't for the prime integration I'd never use this app again. It constantly crashes in the middle of a page or drops back to the library. I've actually paid full price for e-books from other sources that are free with prime just to be able to actually read without the inconvenience. Amazon basically pioneered the e-reader, and this is the best you've got this far into the game? C'mon Amazon get it together.
Bumped this up to five stars because they gave back the option to turn off popular highlights. I love it when devs are responsive and when they let the features fade into the background so they don't interrupt the experience of the book. Features like press-and-hold dictionary definitions are an excellent example—there when they can add to the experience, not competing with the book for your attention. Well done.
I always liked this app, but I've recently moved to an entry-level device (Huawei Y3 II) which won't let me run it. Or perhaps it is just the app itself containing incompatibilities, since it appears to be the only instance where I'm encountering problems.
Purchased a book "with one click". I wanted to add the audio book. There is a new process for this since last I bought an audio book. It's a separate company, entity, or whatever and doesn't play well with others. I cannot purchase it. It says not supported by one click please add payment. There is no link to add payment! They can take payment for book but not audio? Dumb! Lame!
Ever since the latest update half or ever more then half my books have disappeared. It closes the app while I am reading......mind you in the middle of the chapter..... Please fix this app previous version was exactly what I wanted...... now I just get annoyed with kindle when I am trying to read.
Several experience improvements and bug fixes.
